Crispy Tofu Bites With Sweet Chile Sauce
Make this vegetarian appetizer for any dinner party. Your friends won't believe how delicious these crispy tofu bites taste in a sweet, tangy sauce. You can also make this dish vegan by using soy milk instead of regular milk.

Ingredients
- 1 package tofu,such as nasoya sesame ginger-flavored marinated baked tofu
- 1/3 cup milk or soy milk
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- sesame seeds
- chopped green onion
- sweet chile sauce
Directions
- Cut tofu into 16 pieces. Pour milk into a small bowl. Place bread crumbs in a shallow dish. Dip tofu cubes in milk; roll in bread crumbs to coat all sides.
- In a 12-ince, nonstock skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook tofu cubes in hot oil, 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and crisp. Remove to serving plate.
- Sprinkle cubes with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with sweet chile sauce for dipping.
