Crispy Oven Baked Pesto Wings
Total time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 jar (1/2 cup) pesto
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Pat down the chicken wings with a paper towel to dry.
  3. In a bowl mix chicken wings, baking powder, salt and pepper and garlic powder.
  4. Place on a sheet-pan with a wire rack sprayed with cooking spray so the wings don’t stick.
  5. The wire rack helps distribute heat around the wings so that you do not have to flip.
  6. Spray wings with oil spray and place in the middle rack of the oven for 30 minutes.
  7. After they are done cooking, mix in a bowl with pesto and enjoy.
  8. If the pesto is a paste add a little bit of olive oil while mixing.
