Everyone loves cheesecake….and this delicious graham cracker crust made with Country Crock® is the perfect base to this extra creamy filling!
Creamy Cheesecake
  • 2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar, divided
  • 1/3 cup country crock spreadable sticks, melted
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel (optional)
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  1. Preheat oven to 325°.Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup sugar and Country Crock® Spreadable Sticks in medium bowl. Press crumb mixture on bottom and halfway up sides in 9-inch springform pan.Beat cream cheese, sour cream and remaining 1 cup sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Beat in eggs, vanilla and lemon peel until smooth. Pour into prepared pan.Bake 1 hour 15 minutes or until almost set in center. Turn oven off, open door slightly and let cake cool in oven about 20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely on wire rack. Cover and refrigerate overnight. To serve, top with sliced strawberries.
  2. TIP: Try using chocolate wafer, ginger snaps or vanilla wafer crumbs. Try different flavorings by using almond extract or other flavorings instead of vanilla extract. OR, drizzle with melted peanut butter.
