One of the most iconic Christmas trees is from the animated classic A Charlie Brown Christmas. The bare little tree has been recreated atop this cocktail by Zach Rivera, bar manager at Headquarters Beercade in Chicago. A small evergreen sprig frozen in an ice cube tops a cocktail made with pine simple syrup pairs well with a smoky mezcal.
- 1.5 Ounces Banhez mezcal
- 2 Bar spoons of Bonne Maman fig preserves
- .25 Ounce Pine syrup
- .5 Ounce Fresh lemon
Shake all ingredients before double straining into a rocks glass.
Garnish with an ice cube with a small pine stem frozen in.
