One of the most iconic Christmas trees is from the animated classic A Charlie Brown Christmas. The bare little tree has been recreated atop this cocktail by Zach Rivera, bar manager at Headquarters Beercade in Chicago. A small evergreen sprig frozen in an ice cube tops a cocktail made with pine simple syrup pairs well with a smoky mezcal.

Ingredients
- 1.5 ounce banhez mezcal
- 2 bar spoons of bonne maman fig preserves
- .25 ounce pine syrup
- .5 ounce fresh lemon
Directions
- Shake all ingredients before double straining into a rocks glass.
- Garnish with an ice cube with a small pine stem frozen in.
