You’ll never believe how easy this ice cream recipe is! This is a great substitute for fat, sugar, and calorie-laden store-bought ice cream.
Pear Ice Cream
  • 1 carton of apple juice
  • 5-6 pears cored and peeled
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 large tub of plain yogurt
  1. Place apple juice in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Leaving the pot uncovered, reduce down to a syrup and continue stirring until it turns into a caramel consistency.
  2. In a blender, combine pears and lemon juice till smooth.
  3. Mix into the yogurt and add the caramel.
  4. Put into an ice cream maker. Freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
