Ingredients

For the doughnuts:

  • 2 3/4 Cups Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 Cups buttermilk or whole milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons butter, melted

For the glaze:

  • 1/4 Cup whole milk
  • 2 Cups powdered sugar

Directions

For the doughnuts:

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a doughnut baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. In a medium mixing bowl, beat all of the ingredients on medium speed for 30 seconds. Then, transfer the batter to a piping bag. Pipe the batter into the doughnut molds until almost completely full.

Bake for about 8 minutes until the doughnuts are lightly browned. Allow to cool for 3 to 5 minutes before removing from the pan.

For the glaze:

In a medium bowl, whisk all of the ingredients together until smooth.

Then, dip your doughnuts into the glaze, lightly tapping as you pull the doughnuts out of the glaze.
