Butternut Squash Smash Recipe

This fall cocktail is the perfect complement to your Thanksgiving meal.

Deliver Ingredients


  • 2 Ounces Roca Patron Reposado
  • 1 Ounce pulque
  • 2 Ounces butternut squash puree
  • 1 lemon wheel
  • 1 cinnamon stick

For Butternut Squash Purée:

  • 5 Pounds peeled squash cubes
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 whole star anise
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 5 Liters water
  • 2 Ounces agave nectar
  • 2 Tablespoons ground cinnamon


Shake and strain into a cinnamon- or sugar-rimmed glass and garnish with a lemon wheel wrapped around a cinnamon stick.

For Butternut Squash Purée:

Boil ingredients for 30 minutes.
