Banana Split Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients
- 4 ounce milk chocolate
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 ounce fresh banana puree
- 8 slices of bananas
- whipped topping of choice
- 1 teaspoon chopped pecans & cashews
- 1 maraschino cherry
Directions
- Combine the chocolate and the cream in the top of a double boiler set over simmering water.
- Heat until the chocolate is melted, stirring constantly; or combine the chocolate and the cream in a microwave-safe bowl until melted, stirring every 30-45 seconds.
- Be careful not to let the chocolate burn.
- Pour into a warm fondue pot.
- Pour in banana puree and stir with long spoon or mixing spoon.
- Add the sliced bananas to the chocolate mixture, placing them around the center of the chocolate to create a “raft”.
- Do not stir.
- Top the banana slice “raft” with the whipped topping.
- Lastly, add the pecans and cashews, then place the Maraschino cherry on top of the whipped topping.
