Note: If you're more of a crispy bacon person, you can also fry these bites in a little oil on the stove. If you do that, I would recommend using a toothpick to hold the bacon in place. Fry them up evenly on each side until you get your desired crispiness!
- 2 bananas
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the bananas into 1- to 2-inch slices (about 4 pieces per banana). Cut the bacon into pieces long enough to wrap all the way around the banana (2-3 pieces per strip of bacon). Lay flat on a nonstick baking sheet. Lightly sprinkle with brown sugar. Roll the banana up in the lightly sugared bacon strips and position 1-2 inches apart on baking sheets. Bake in the oven until desired crispiness is achieved, 25-30 minutes. Remove, let cool, and share with friends!
