Obama Launches Marshmallow In White House

Yesterday, a bunch of smart kids headed over to the Executive Mansion for the White House Science Fair, and one contraption in particular caught the president's — and the press' — interest: an Extreme Marshmallow Cannon.

The 14-year-old inventor told the president he probably couldn't demonstrate it, because "at 30 psi, it will go 176 feet." Still, Obama insisted and the two helped launch a marshmallow in the White House. "Secret service isn't happy about this," Obama quipped.
