Own It: Push Audio Boundaries With Revel Performa3 F206 Loudspeaker

There was a time when it seemed like we were reporting on a new speaker every week and while that's slowed, it doesn't mean there aren't still some outstanding models out there. Take the Revel Performa3 F206 floorstanding loudspeaker, for example. Not only is the F206 able to fit in with any décor scheme, it promises a pretty impressive sound too. With low-frequency and midrange transducers that reduce music distortion, you can apparently turn it up to 11 and hear it clear as ever. The tweeter seems pretty impressive too, with an integrated acoustic lens waveguide that was based on a mathematical approach with "accurately matches the tweeter's dispersion to that of the midrange transducer in the crossover region." If you're anything like me, you don't know what that means...but hey, it sounds good. Overall, the high-gloss speaker, which you can get in a piano black or in American walnut, would make an excellent addition to any true music lover's stereo setup or home theater.
