Oregon's Benedictine Abbey Brewery Releases "Black Habit Dark Ale"

Oregon's first Abbey brewery is inching closer to becoming a reality with the release of "Black Habit Dark Ale" from the Benedictine Brewery of Mt. Angel, Oregon. While actual brewing operations at the monastery have been pushed back to early 2015 an opportunity to produce one of their recipes at a local Portland brewery and sell the bottles at this weekends Mount Angel Abbey Festival allows them to sneak in a first release for 2014.
