Gordon Ramsay Opening Next Restaurant In Bordeaux, France

Gordon Ramsay seems to be popping up everywhere. The Hell's Kitchen chef's newest restaurant will be located in Bordeaux, France, the region of France best-known for its deep red wines. Chef Ramsay is taking over the restaurant at the Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa, which will serve seasonal dishes created from local ingredients along with the region's famous wine offerings, according to Big Hospitality.

This restaurant will be Ramsay's 26th worldwide, and his second in France, the first being the Gordon Ramsay au Trianon in Versailles.

"I'm thrilled we are opening our second restaurant in France, following on from the two Michelin-starred Gordon Ramsay au Trianon in Versailles," Ramsay said in a statement. "To open a restaurant in the wine capital of France with its world-class vineyards and glorious regional produce is extremely exciting."

An opening date for the restaurant has yet to be announced, although Michel Oyehon, the owner of the hotel, says that, "Gordon Ramsay's arrival in Bordeaux has been the cause for much excitement."
