52 Soon-To-Open Restaurants We Can't Wait To Try
This summer, we're looking forward to a pop-up from the Garces Group (Philadelphia), Morimoto and Tom Collichio in Las Vegas, a tapas project from Aarón Sánchez and John Besh (Baltimore), and other intriguing restaurant openings all over the country. What else? Guy Fieri is opening two restaurants (Atlantic City and Baltimore), an unnamed project from Paul Kahan is opening in late August (Chicago), and we're weeks, maybe days, away from the opening of Petite Trois from Ludo Lefebvre, Jon Shook, and Vinny Dotolo. West
San Francisco
Game — Big game comes to the Bay area with Game, featuring "American exotic cuisine" with menu items like bison, Guinea hen and pheasant and a daily special game meat, by executive chef Zack Freitas of All Spice.

Alembic 2.0 — San Francisco favorite Alembic, after being closed for months, is coming back in a big way with a brand-new kitchen and dining room featuring chef Ted Fleury's modern American small plates and selections like lamb shoulder and rib eye steak.

Las Vegas
Morimoto — Located in the famous Mirage Hotel, chef Masaharu Morimoto will be serving his acclaimed and artfully-made sushi as well as other upscale Japanese cuisine inside his first Vegas restaurant. Morimoto will be joined by Tom Colicchio, who will open Heritage Steak inside the Mirage as well.

Griddle Café
SLS Hotel Restaurants — The highly-anticipated SLS Hotel opening on the strip this August, will feature a number of upscale and casual California-based eateries including Bazaar by José Andrés (a whimsical tapas restaurant), Griddle Café (with a menu full of mouthwatering pancakes) and Katsuya (high-end sushi restaurant from Hollywood).

Made.LV — Husband and wife team Elizabeth Blau and Kim Canteenwalla will be opening up this "modern American tavern" later in the summer with healthy twists on comfort food. The restaurant will also be decked out in retro arcade games and bocce ball courts.

Petit Trois — Ludo Lefebvre, Jon Shook, and Vinny Dotolo are soon to open Petit Trois right next to their restaurant, Trois Mec. According to Dotolo, the restaurant will open "within the next couple of weeks."

Pistola — The upcoming Italian restaurant will serve fresh pasta, prime steaks, seafood, classic cocktails, and more.

Big Gay Ice Cream — Doug Quint and Bryan Petroff will open an LA location of Big Gay Ice Cream in Downtown Los Angeles "with unicorns in the design."

Común Kitchen & Tavern — Chad White will open a "casual bar with food" with partners Shane Brennan and Demien Farrell. The restaurant will offer a nightly tasting menu inspired by foraged ingredients, as well as small snacks and entrées.

Bottega Americano — The large-scale restaurant and market space (think Eataly) will feature "interactive food bars" of pasta, pizza, seafood, salads, and more. Bottega will also have a full-service restaurant and a retail section.

Manolin — Joe Sundberg and Rachel Johnson will open Manolin (named after the boy in The Old Man and the Sea) this summer with Alex Barkley (now of Whale Wins restaurant). The menu will feature small plates, fresh fish, and grilled seafood. The dining room will seat 40, with an additional patio space for around 20 guests.

99 Park
99 Park — Executive chef Quinton Stewart will helm the upcoming fine dining restaurant from Micah Pittman. There will be farm-to-table dishes like Pleasant View duck breast with morels and dry-aged beef burgers. 99 Park will be open for lunch and dinner daily, along with weekend brunch and late-night options.

Portland, Oregon
Mediterranean Exploration Company — John Gorham will open a restaurant this summer that will offer family-style platters inspired by the foods of Israel, Turkey, and North Africa.

BTU Brassiere — A Chinese restaurant and beer brewery is slated to open this summer from Chris Bogart and Nate Yovu, both previously of Burnside Brewery. The space will include a 40-seat dining room and a 600-square-foot brewery. The menu includes Peking duck, roast pork, and may later include dim sum.

Guy Fieri's Chophouse at Bally's in Atlantic City — The Food Network star's new restaurant will serve steak and seafood options "inspired by resort dining culture and Atlantic City overall."

Blue Anchor at Spruce Street Harbor Park — Now through August 31, Jose Garces and his team will serve casual fare for the warm weather at a pop-up restaurant from the Garces Group, executed by chef Adam DeLosso.

Dizengoff and Abe Fisher — Restaurateur team Mike Solomonov and Steve Cook (Zahav, Federal Donuts, and Percy Street Barbecue) will open two adjacent restaurants. Dizengoff will focus specifically on hummus, and Abe Fisher will feature cuisine of the Jewish diaspora.

Nom Wah Dim Sum Parlor — Wilson Tang will open an outpost of the nearly century-old dim sum parlor in Philadelphia's Chinatown. Tang is expected to announce an opening date in the fall.

Guy Fieri's Baltimore Kitchen — Guy Fieri is heading out to Baltimore to join the ranks at the Horseshoe Casino where he will serve his usual bold flavors, unique bites, and plenty of small plates, as well as a unique frozen tap system bar which delivers shots out of ice dispensers

Johnny Sánchez — Two celebrity chefs, Aarón Sánchez.and John Besh have teamed up together to create this unique tapas eatery, also opening inside the brand-new Horseshoe Casino at the end of the summer.

Coppersmith Hall — American comfort food will find a new home inside this dining hall which will be open 19 hours a day, from serving gourmet coffee in the morning, to two permanent food trucks serving lunch in the afternoon, and a full dinner menu at night. The eatery will have an industrial feel, and the trucks will also have the ability to serve liquor.

Bastille Kitchen — This friendly French bistro, featuring plenty of French cheeses and local ingredients, is slated to open this summer with chef Adam Kube at the helm. The menu features classics like pork chop au poivre and French onion soup, as well as fusion selections like prosciutto-wrapped cod and octopus ceviche.

ABC Home Grown — This highly-anticipated all-veggie spot from Jean-Georges Vongerichten will present vegetarian and vegan food from a "global perspective," and will be like "an indoor Union Square green market."

Dirty French — The Torrisi and Carbone team are at it again. With plans to expand the juggernaut of their Italian empire, Parm, they will also be opening a brand-new restaurant in the just-opened Ludlow high-rise that will focus on Gallic and whimsical French cuisine.

Cosme— Cosme, the casual Mexican eatery brought to you by acclaimed Mexico City-based chef Enrique Olvera will be opening soon, serving authentic Mexican comfort food like tortilla soup and sea urchin tostadas with smoked tomatillos.

Charlie Palmer—The first-ever Manhattan iteration of the Las Vegas and DC-based steakhouse will be coming this summer. Charlie Palmer steak is known for breaking the mold of the "men's club" steakhouse, and will offer classic dishes like of traditional steakhouse classics like aged ribeyes and porterhouses, as well as more modern cuts like the teres major.

Brooklyn Fare Manhattan — It's finally happening. The beloved grocery store/Michelin-starred restaurant in Brooklyn is coming to Manhattan. From the minds of Cesar Ramirez and Moe Issa comes this Hell's Kitchen rendition of Brooklyn Fare, which will have a more laid-back style and a menu focused on French and Italian cuisine.
