Epic 49-Layer Dip Amps Up The Super Bowl Dip Game By Factor Of Seven
If a well-made seven layer dip (with guacamole, beans, sour cream, etc.) feels like a touchdown, then the 49-layer dip feels like the avalanche of Gatorade thrown on your coach at the end of a Super Bowl win. Alex Perrault, aka "Big Al" (formerly of Epic Meal Time), takes his game day dips seriously, and this one takes the cake (literally). Al has created an impossibly complex junk food mountain: a 49-layer dip.
In one fiesta-filled video, Big Al and SportsManias show you how to make this epic, and frankly ridiculous, 49-layer dip, which starts off with normal ingredients like tortilla chips, guacamole, salsa, cheese, and pulled pork. Then the layers become increasingly puzzling and weird, like goldfish, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chicken parmesan penne pasta, burritos, tacos, Pop-Tarts, onion rings, maple, syrup, and cheeseburgers. The 48th layer is pizza, and the top layer of this epic pile is a giant chocolate cake.
We know that this nauseating meal is more disaster than dip, and we hope that you won't actually attempt to make it at home. But you can still break out of your guac' n queso box with these Delightful Game Day Dips and impress your guests without leaving a giant mess.
