This Woman Claims She Was Kicked Out Of A Restaurant For Being A Trump Supporter
A woman wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat and a patriotic t-shirt claims she was kicked out of a Mexican restaurant in Warwick, New York, for being a Trump supporter. Esther Levy, 61, has been a regular patron of the Cancun Inn, and was upset when she sat down this past weekend and was told by the waitress that she would have to leave.
"I was shocked," Levy told The New York Post. "On the way out, the co-owner decided to yell at me and humiliate me. He said, 'We don't serve Trump supporters here. Get out of here and never come back.' "
Levy said the co-owner then blasted Trump and said that Clinton will win the presidency.
The restaurant posted a response to the incident on its Facebook page stating, "There was an unfortunate situation that was brought to my attention where claims of discrimination were made by patrons of the restaurant. An employee of ours asked the patrons to leave because they were being rowdy and rude to staff."
The restaurant, however, will be looking into the incident and asks Levy to contact them to get her side of the story.
"That's ridiculous," she told The New York Post. "They made it very clear why we were kicked out. It was because I was a Trump supporter, and that's it."
