Parent company for Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

If all else fails, it looks like Snoop Dogg is ready to save the beloved Los Angeles-based soul food chain, Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles. Its parent company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and it owes $3 million to a former employee, who sued the company for discrimination and wrongful termination.

A TMZ reporter caught up with Snoop Dogg outside Lure Nightclub on Tuesday night, where they brought up the news. Snoop Dogg was caught off guard and did not seem to be aware about the news, immediately asking “What happened?” in disbelief.

After quickly dismissing the information, Snoop Dogg says, “I guess I’mma have to buy it, man, and make it Snoop Dogg’s Chicken ‘N Waffles.”

Snoop Dogg, a known fan of the restaurant chain, took Larry King and David Beckham to a Roscoe’s on his reality TV show, Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood.
