Waffle And Syrup Oreos Spotted On Shelves

Oreo has already graced us with the creation of Fireworks Oreos (aka cookies with Pop Rocks in the crème filling), but now they're coming out with yet another wacky flavor: waffle and syrup-flavored Oreos. It may sound fake, but Oreo has confirmed that these cookies that taste just like your favorite morning meal are real.

Sadly, they're very limited edition, and will only be available the week of May 8, exclusively at Albertson's for $4.49. Albertson's is a small grocery chain based in Maryland.

However, the word from @thejunkfoodaisle's Instagram is that these cookies were also spotted at Shaw's, a Massachusetts-based grocery chain owned by Albertson's.

But wait, there's more: The junk food-themed Instagram account @CandyHunting also found Mississippi Mud Pie Oreos, which will be coming out this summer.

If you're itching to create your own wacky Oreo flavor, fear not: Oreo is actually calling upon fans to create their own ideas by adding to the hashtag #MyOREOCreation. The Daily Meal already came up with a few ideas of our own, including Peanut Butter and Jelly, Premium Dark Chocolate, Chocolate-Covered Pretzel, and Margarita. One of these flavors may grace your shelves soon, but we can't give out any more information than that right now.
