Toasted Marshmallow Milano Cookies Are Here Just in Time for the Holidays
Pepperidge Farm is releasing a brand-new Milano cookie for the holiday season. Although we’ve always been a fan of the Milano Melts stuffed with creamy chocolate, these may just be our next favorite: Toasted Marshmallow Milano cookies. The new Milanos will be available at Target stores nationwide starting on New Year’s Day, so get ready to break any and all diet-related New Year’s resolutions.
According to a review of the new cookies by Today, Toasted Marshmallow Milanos are delicious but disappointingly lack any graham cracker flavoring that would have made it a true s’mores cookie. Also, the marshmallow crème is more of a filling akin to Oreo.
The standard retail price for a bag of Toasted Marshmallow Milano cookies will be $3.69.
If you prefer to drink your Milano treat, Pepperidge Farm provided The Daily Meal with a Milano cocktail:
Winter Toasted Marshmallow Milano Cocktail
1 ounce Baileys Irish Cream or heavy cream
1 ounce vanilla vodka
2 ounces peppermint schnapps
1 ounce espresso, chilled
1 Toasted Marshmallow Milano, to garnish
Combine the heavy cream, vanilla vodka, peppermint schnapps, and espresso in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a cocktail glass.
Place the marshmallows on top of the glass and use a flame to torch them (carefully).
Garnish with a Toasted Marshmallow Milano and serve.
