There's Now A 'Harry Potter'-Themed Pasta Restaurant In Brooklyn

A pasta restaurant in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood is low-key Harry Potter-themed, complete with candles, chandeliers, and a Sorting Hat.

Pasta Wiz is meant to resemble "a wizard's enchanted lair," but, according to the website, the real magic of this fast-casual Brooklyn restaurant is the three-minute prep time for all dishes.

Like many trendy restaurants in Williamsburg, it touts organic dishes with local ingredients, as well as gluten-free options and a low-calorie, soy-free, gluten-free, cholesterol-free vegan shirataki noodle made from Japanese yams. Other menu offerings include "magical meatballs" and a "vegan Mediterranean" dish with vegan Parmesan "cheese" and organic spaghetti.

"We decided Pasta Wiz, it's like a wizard magical place, so we've made it Harry Potter-style. We decorated in a Harry Potter-style," owner Alex Dimitrov told Gothamist. "The magic is making the pasta so fast, and so good."
