SoCal Kids to Get Free McDonald’s Breakfast on September 13

Participating restaurants will offer free breakfast to students in grades K-8

Free breakfast offer comes back for its fifth year.

Southern California McDonald’s restaurants are kicking off the back to school season by offering free breakfast to students in K-8th grade on Sept. 15.

Participating restaurants will serve free breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Students can pick a breakfast muffin sandwich of their choice, apple slices or yogurt, and milk. There is a limit of one free breakfast per student, and children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult, according to a release.

“There are a lot of changes taking place at McDonald's, but one thing that's never changed is our commitment to the well-being of children,” said Paul Tulaphorn, a McDonald's owner and operator, and president of the McDonald's Operators' Association of Southern California. “We are proud to offer a great-tasting, free breakfast with fresh, healthy ingredients for the fifth year.”
