Quaker Introduces Breakfast Flats For On-The-Go Snacking

The Quaker Oats Company has introduced Breakfast Flats for on-the-go snacking, whenever hunger strikes.

Quaker Breakfast Flats are crispy baked snack bars which contain oats, fruit, nuts, flax, and sunflower seeds. Each individually packaged serving contains three flats, totaling less than 200 calories per pack, 18 grams of whole grains, seven grams of total fat per serving, and no artificial flavors or added colors, according to a release.

They come in three flavors: Cranberry Almond, Banana Honey Nut, and Golden Raisin Cinnamon. Each box, which retails for $3.49, contains five packs of three flats each.

"As a working mom, I know how hectic mornings can be," said Lesley Butler, senior marketing director of Quaker Foods North America. "One thing that every woman needs is a convenient snack to help fuel her. At Quaker, we know breakfast, and continue to innovate to meet evolving consumer lifestyles. Quaker Breakfast Flats were designed to address consumer demand for convenient, nutritious snack options that help satisfy hunger."
