Noma's René Redzepi Gets In On Pizza Hut's Ridiculous Hot Dog Stuffed Crust Pizza

Not even René Redzepi, the two Michelin-starred chef of Noma in Copenhagen — which has regularly ranked among, and has often topped, S.Pellegrino's list of the World's 50 Best Restaurants — whose life's work is the subject of an upcoming documentary, is not immune to the strange charms of Pizza Hut's hot dog stuffed crust pizza.

To be precise, it will be known as the "Hot Dog Bites Pizza" in the U.S.

The "succulent hot dog-stuffed crust" caught the Danish chef's eye, and he shared with his Instagram followers that the pizza, surrounded by pigs in a blanket fused together at a 45 degree angle from the surface, was, in fact, his "new main course coming soon."

We would honestly be thrilled if the talented chef took it upon himself to reimagine this Frankenstein of fast foods, but we somehow doubt that chef Redzepi's clean, foraging-focused cooking style can meld with Pizza Hut's own vision culinary vision.

Here, for example, are some of his personal dishes:

Sweet green peas & elderflower – and a bit of unripe white currants

However, we'll be the first to let you know if he does go through with it.
