Nathan Myhrvold is a man of many talents, with titles such as physicist, inventor, author, scientist, and trailblazer under his belt. His projects — which include Modernist Cuisine: The Art and Science of Cooking, Modernist Cuisine at Home, and The Photography of Modernist Cuisine — combine his passions for science, cooking, and photography. Now Myhrvold has announced the coming of the Modernist Cuisine Gallery in Las Vegas.
“We are standing up for food as a subject matter because we believe it can be both beautiful and intriguing, and deserves a place on walls alongside other works of art,” the brand stated on its blog.
During the debut, the gallery will display new photos, with some featured in the Modernist Cuisine books. The gallery will also showcase limited edition prints of Myhrvold’s photography.
Potential art buyers will have the option to customize the frame, media, and size of the prints, which will also be available for shipping around the world.
The gallery is set to open this May at the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace.
