Mark Your Calendars: The Hester Street Fair Comes Back This Weekend

It's that time of year again: warm weather and outdoor markets that make weekends even more enjoyable. The Hester Street Fair market is kicking off its seventh season in New York this Saturday, May 14. There will be 60 different vendors this year, which span food, fashion, and design.

New food vendors En Japanese Brasserie, Scarr's Pizza, Spur Tree, and Gordo's Cantina join Hester Street Fair veterans Luke's Lobster and Khao Man Gai, reports Grub Street. En Japanese Brasserie will be serving its version of Japanese fried chicken, and Spur Tree will be offering an assortment of Jamaican-Asian eats, including jerk chicken. Gordo's Cantina boasts Central Mexican fare, and Scarr's Pizza will serve full pies, slices, and subs.

The fair is located on the intersection of Essex and Hester in the city's Lower East Side, and is open every Saturday through October 29 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
