Kellogg's Special K Teams Up With Tracee Ellis Ross For 'Nourish Your Next' Project

Special K has teamed up with Black-ish actress Tracee Ellis Ross for its 'Nourish Your Next' project, "to recognize and celebrate get-after-it, bring-it-on, ready-for-what's next women, and nourish what they have their sights set on next."

Ross says, "There's beauty in this idea that all of us as women are nourishing our lives in a way that allows us to go out there and get what's next for us – be who we are in a really full and beautiful way, and live these lives that we're all living. I'm really excited to partner with Special K to help recognize and celebrate what it is to be an awesome woman. We should all do what we can in our daily lives to remember that we're glorious and powerful and more than enough."

Special K invites consumers to participate by sharing photos of how they are celebrating their inner strength and 'rocking it' and tagging #whatsnext and @SpecialKUS.

The company and Ross recognized Atlanta-based "Strong Is the New Pretty" photographer Kate T. Parker as the first "Nourish Your Next" recipient, according to a release. Special K worked with Parker to create her first-ever New York City gallery exhibit, which features never-before-seen photos from a special shoot with Ross.

In line with the project, the brand has released Special K Nourish, which is described as "a line of delicious, wholesome cereals to help [women] tackle and embrace everything that comes their way." The cereal is offered in Apple Raspberry Almond and Coconut Cranberry Almond at retailers nationwide for $4.49.
