Historic Iowa Restaurant Creates A 'Trumpburger'

In honor of presidential candidate Donald Trump's visit to Winterset, Iowa, the historic Northside Café created a Trump-inspired burger, according to The Hill.

Featured on the restaurant's seasonal specials menu, the Trumpburger is "all business," the menu reads. The burger features half a pound of ham, "for the man who likes to ham it up for the cameras," stacked on top of the restaurant's "no nonsense" third pound burger. The description continues, "We've added shredded cheese as Trump continues to shred the competition in the polls. Grilled onions for all the tears from political pundits who can't figure Trump out."

The burger, which costs $14.99, is served with fries. The description concludes, "We're making the hamburger great again with the Trump burger." Trump campaign advisor Daniel Scavino Jr. tweeted an image of the restaurant's menu and writes, "Hello @NorthsideCafe, Iowa! Just received your menu! The @realDonaldTrump burger sounds amazing!!"
