The first Friday of June marks National Doughnut Day, most likely one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. Get one free doughnut of your choice with no purchase necessary at participating locations.

 

Tim Hortons

Guests will be offered a free classic doughnut with the purchase of a brewed hot or iced coffee, available while supplies last at participating locations. In order to cash in on the free treat, guests have to mention "National Doughnut Day."

 

Entenmann's

The company has teamed up with Hard Rock Café to create two doughnut-themed burgers, a dessert, and a cocktail. At New York-based locations, guests can order a Sweet and Spicy Donut Burger, with Parmesan cheese, grilled pineapple, jalapeno salsa, and bacon, served between two Entenmann's Rich Frosted Donuts; a Glazed Breakfast Donut Burger, topped with cheddar, an over easy egg, and bacon, between two Entenmann's Glazed Donuts; a Donut Day Sundae, a chocolate doughnut with ice cream topped with whipped cream, white chocolate shavings, and caramel; and Chocolate Donut-tini, with vodka, Grand Marnier, crème de cacao, and simple syrup with Entenmann's Rich Frosted Pop'ettes as a garnish. Entenmann's will also give away free doughnuts in Times Square in New York from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
