Get Your Free Doughnuts At Krispy Kreme This Friday

It's that sweet time of year again: National Doughnut Day. Krispy Kreme fans are in for a treat, as the chain is offering customers a free doughnut of their choice at locations in the U.S. and Canada on Friday, June 3.

No purchase is necessary to redeem this offer, though customers are encouraged to leave donations at miniature Salvation Army Red Kettles, which will be stationed at the registers. Donations will support local communities, according to the company. National Doughnut Day was established by The Salvation Army in 1938 to honor its "Doughnut Lassies" who served the treats to soldiers during World War I.

Like Dunkin' Donuts, Krispy Kreme is also taking National Doughnut Day to international locations. Australia, Bahrain, India North, KSA, Kuwait, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Turkey, and UAE are offering free doughnuts on June 3, Japan and Korea will be offering samples of Krispy Kreme's Original Glazed doughnuts, the Philippines is offering a free Original Glazed doughnut with a coffee purchase, and Krispy Kreme Malaysia is offering a free Original Glazed doughnut to fans who like their page before June 3.
