Geoffrey Zakarian's New Restaurant Will Be In Greenwich, Connecticut

The new restaurant, called The National Greenwich, will mark Zakarian's first culinary foray into Connecticut. The restaurant is described as serving "approachable food in an ambiance that is both fresh and familiar" that "brings a unique perspective to the idea of a neighborhood restaurant."

There is some menu overlap between the original National restaurant and the upcoming one. A few new menu items that will be featured at The National Greenwich include sea urchin carbonara, wood-grilled  Murray's chicken, and wood-grilled 24-ounce Delmonico Grade Prime for dinner. Lunch options include Vietnamese chicken salad, The National wood-roasted burger, and Setaro linguine alle vongole.

Cocktails will be crafted by mixologist historian Brian Van Flandern, and the drink menu features options like the Smokin' Margarita with Don Julio Reposado, Del Maguey Mezcal, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, egg white, and black lava salt.

Expect the National Greenwich to open its doors in early fall.
