Prominent New York City chefs will be there with delicious food and drinks.

On Wednesday, March 4, chef Anthony Bourdain and author James Patterson will host Food for Thought, an annual event which benefits the Urban Assembly Bronx Academy of Letters, a prominent New York City public school.

The honorees for the evening are Reagan Arthur, publisher at Little, Brown, and Susan Kamil, publisher at Random House. The event will be hosted at the Edison Ballroom in Manhattan.

A selection of New York City’s most talented chefs will prepare small bites and celebratory cocktails for the occasion. Thus far, the lineup includes Andrew Carmellini (Bar Primi, Lafayette), Brooks Headley (Del Posto), Jim Meehan (PDT), Christina Tosi (Momofuku Milk Bar), Andy Ricker (Pok Pok), Marcus Samuelsson (The Red Rooster), and others.

Attendees will be able to bid on a series of auction packages with offerings like a cooking class for six guests with Gabrielle Hamilton of Prune and lunch with food writer and former New York Times restaurant critic Ruth Reichl.

During the evening, several Bronx Letters students will be in attendance to share their experiences at the school and their plans for the future.
