Florida Has 17 Out Of 100 Hot Spot Restaurants In America, According To OpenTable

If you're on the hunt for some of the hottest dining spots in America, look no further. OpenTable, one of the leading providers for online restaurant reservations, has recently announced its top 100 restaurants this year, and the list features eateries in 25 states across the country.

According to the press release, the list was crowdsourced using more than 10 million restaurant reviews by verified OpenTable diners. More than 25,000 restaurants all over the country were evaluated.

"This year's winning restaurants are pulsing with energy from both diners and the eateries' atmospheres, creating an infectiously energetic dining experience," Caroline Potter, OpenTable's chief dining officer, said in a statement. "If you're looking for a spot where fun is always on the menu, look to one of these honorees."

Seventeen Florida restaurants took home the title of being a hot spot restaurant in America this year, giving the Sunshine State the most honorees. Some Florida restaurants included in the list are Barton G. The Restaurant in Miami Beach, YOLO in Fort Lauderdale, and Buccan in Palm Beach.

Following closely behind Florida for the most hot spots were California with 15 restaurants on the list, New York and Ohio with nine each, Minnesota with five, and Colorado and Tennessee with four.
