Chef Josh Eden Reopens August On New York City's Upper East Side

August, the charming Bleeker Street restaurant from Josh Eden, has reopened on the Upper East Side in New York City, on Lexington Avenue between 61st and 62nd streets.

At August's new space, expect to see more of chef Eden's classic August dishes alongside new creations developed for the new digs, including roasted squash ravioli with crispy lemon, brown butter and mascarpone; Jerusalem artichoke soup with brown butter and sunchoke chips; steamed mussels with Blue Moon ale, fresh coriander and grilled bread; braised short ribs with honey Sriracha Brussels sprouts, and more.

"The 72-seat restaurant channels the airy spirit of its former location, featuring walls of white-washed brick decorated with eclectic art, mirrors and staghorn ferns to evoke the comfort of someone's home," August announced in a press release.

"Upon entering, a pre-deco white Carrera marble bar-top offers a spot to enjoy a drink or a bite, while zinc tabletops and crème-colored booths throughout the dining room offer a sleek yet warm ambience."

August is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with brunch on the weekends.
