Lululemon Has A Summer Lager With Vancouver's Stanley Park Brewery

Lululemon Athletica may be known for their running and yoga gear, but the activewear line is teaming up with Stanley Park Brewery in Vancouver, Canada, to create a craft beer called Curiosity Lager.

Doug Devlin, director of marketing for Stanley Park Brewing, told CBC News that Lululemon wants to reach out to the male beer-drinking crowd. "Just because you're a yogi doesn't mean you won't have an occasion for beer, and we're certainly interested in talking to that crowd," Devlin said.

The beer is described as a "crisp, bold session lager" with 4.6 percent alcohol. Customers can find it at stores in British Columbia and Alberta.

Just 88,000 cans will be made, and they'll only be available this summer.

Last year, Lululemon, which is also based in Vancouver, worked with Stanley Park to make a beer for the Seawheeze Half Marathon. Looks like yoga and beer can coexist after all.
