Krispy Kreme Is Giving Out Free Coffee For Teachers This Summer

Hey, teachers: What's the best way to celebrate school finally letting out for the next two months? Free coffee, of course.

Krispy Kreme is offering free coffee for the months of June and July to any teacher who shows identification and purchases another regularly-priced item at a participating Krispy Kreme location.

The best part is that, just like the bottomless pit of papers you have to grade, the free coffee deals are unlimited until the end of July — and iced coffee is included (sorry, no hot chocolate or tea substitutions).

"We wanted to offer teachers an opportunity to really relax this summer," Krispy Kreme said in a statement. "We know the summer months are a precious time for them to regroup and recharge, and figured it would be a nice way to show them they are appreciated all year round."

You can find a participating Krispy Kreme location here.

As for the time of year, arguably when teachers need to increase their caffeine dosages the least?

"In the past we've honored teachers at different intervals throughout the year, but we found that the summer months allow teachers to actually enjoy those offers," a spokesperson told NBC Today.
