Kimo Sabe Wins ‘Best in Class’ Agave Spirit Award at American Distilling Institute Gala

The company says it was also a hit at the SXSW festival this year.

Kimo Sabe is owning up to its motto, “The New Face of Mezcal,” with it’s recent “Best in Class” award in the agave spirit category at the American Distilling Institute Awards annual gala.

 

“By all accounts, the mezcal spirit category is primed to explode over the next couple of years,” Ashley Walsh Kvamme, COO and co-founder of Kimo Sabe, said in a statement. “Winning the “Best In Class” award two years in a row, puts us at the forefront of that movement and validates our mission to become The New Face Of Mezcal.”

The company not only wants to be “The New Face of Mezcal,” but also become a leader in taste in the category. According to the company, its ability to blend “rich varietal agaves” with classic distilling techniques gives consumers a chance to have a “distinctive drinking experience.”
