The partnership will allow Kerry to manufacture and distribute the new beverage under the Hostess brand.

Hostess has been creating snacks for nearly a century, with Twinkies being the most notable name in the brand’s portfolio. In January, the company introduced an ice cream version of the cream-filled cake, and now they have announced the launch of the Twinkies Cappuccino.

The company has partnered with Kerry Convenience to bring the new hot beverage — which will feature a combination of milk, sponge cake flavor, and a hint of coffee — to convenience stores, according to the press release.

“Twinkies Cappuccino not only provides consumers with another option when selecting a treat, it combines two of their favorites into one decadent indulgence,” Ellen Copaken, vice president of marketing at Hostess Brands LLC, said in a statement.

“Further, the beverage allows c-store operators the opportunity for multi-category promotional activity, rewarding consumers in an engaging way.”

The cappuccino will initially be available at Sheetz convenience stores in the Northeast. It is slated to rollout nationwide within the next few weeks.
