Canned, Ready To Drink Butter Coffee Is (Almost) Here

The butter coffee fad has fueled the development, funding, and now production of Grass Fed Coffee, the "world's first ready to drink butter coffee," according to the company. Founder John 'Sonic' Ban launched a Kickstarter, which raised over 500 percent of its $15,000 funding goal.

Grass Fed Coffee is made from four key ingredients: organic chicory, grass-fed butter, fair trade organic cold brewed coffee, and distilled medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil. The butter used is grass-fed, full of vitamins and antioxidants, and sustainably produced in Germany. MCTs "boost fat burning, energy, and [curb] appetite."

The company took the centuries-old tradition of mixing butter into coffee and incorporated the latest technological processes to create a healthier, more evolved alternative. With the funds raised from the Kickstarter, Grass Fed Coffee is about to enter its first production run. Suggested retail price is $3.99 to $4.79 a can.
