Attention, Muggles: A 'Harry Potter' Bar Is Opening In Toronto

Ready your wands and broomsticks — a Harry Potter-themed bar is opening in Toronto, Canada.

The Lockhart is named after Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Gilderoy Lockhart, who lost his memory in the series' second novel, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Harry Potter fans will find surprises throughout the bar. For example, there is a hidden Deathly Hallows symbol, a collection of Harry Potter POP! dolls, and a stag's head on the wall.

Patrons can drink cocktails called Befuddlement Brew, The Shacklebolt, and Ludo's Debt — all pay homage to the cultural phenomenon. The Shacklebolt is made with ginger beer and Gosling rum with 10 different spices. And, of course, the bar will serve the Hogsmeade specialty butterbeer, but it will be renamed due to copyright reasons.

The Lockhart will also have a small tapas menu with citrus shrimp, jalapeño macaroni and cheese, croquette sandwiches, flavored popcorn, and baked Brie layered with jam. There will also be trivia nights, Halloween parties, and a brunch menu in the near future.
