Kitchn Synch Is The First Meal Kit Delivery Service To Offer Glatt Kosher Choices

Douglas Soclof, the founder of Dougies BBQ & Grill, a kosher barbecue restaurant, has launched Kitchn Synch, the first-ever glatt kosher meal kit delivery service. The term "glatt kosher" is used to describe meat from animals with smooth and defect-free lungs, though of course, Kitchn Synch is not exclusive to kosher customers.

Inside each kit, customers will find the pre-measured ingredients needed to prepare three meals each week, available in packages for two or four adults, or families (two adults and three or four children). The service is first launching in the tri-state area, and will expand nationwide this summer.

Chef-driven dishes available through Kitchn Synch will include bimbimbap bowls, sangria chicken with fruit glaze, and roasted tea-infused chicken with cauliflower fried rice.  All chicken, meat, veal, lamb, and turkey used in the meals is locally sourced and under glatt kosher national kosher supervision.

"I am thrilled to bring people great kosher dishes they can cook at home and enjoy with their family and loved ones," said Douglas Soclof. "Interestingly, there are over 12 million kosher consumers in America, about 21 percent of whom either regularly or occasionally purchases kosher products because they are kosher. Understandably, I saw a missing niche in meal delivery kits for them. But Kitchn Synch is not just for kosher consumers — it's for anyone looking for great quality, delicious food delivered to their door."
