New Worries For The World's Water On World Environment Day

Today is World Environment Day—a day to celebrate the planet's precious resources, including the importance of fresh water. The only way to assure a sustainable source of clean water is to understand water for what it is: a living system of biotic communities, not a commodity. It is a living thing and as such it deserves our deepest respect today and every other day.
