New Trophy Cupcakes Location Opening In Seattle
Trophy Cupcakes and Party is planning to open their third Seattle location in University of Washington's Husky Stadium on August 31st, Eater Seattle reported. The concession stand will open when the Huskys' opening day football game begins, and can be found at the field's main north concourse.
"As our third new location to open in just under two years, we couldn't have picked a more perfect spot to continue our expansion. All we can say is 'Go Dawgs!'" Co-owner Jennifer Shea told Crave Local. Since opening in 2007, the bakery has expanded to locations in Seattle and downtown Bellevue.
Trophy Cupcakes will be selling their purple and gold cupcakes, which pay homage to the University of Washington's college colors. The flavor is vanilla cupcake with vanilla buttercream frosting sprinkled with purple sprinkles. For about four dollars per cupcake, fans can also try Trophy's red velvet cupcakes, salted caramel cupcakes, and more.
The stadium will be re-opening after a year of renovations, and while football and cupcakes don't necessarily go together, we're sure they'll have no problem selling them there.
