Miami Beach Polo World Cup Starts April 24 With Sexy Models & Bieber's Supercars
The glamorous world of high goal polo converges in Florida on April 24–27 for the 10th annual Miami Beach Polo World Cup played on the sizzling sands of South Beach. This year the event's sponsors include Argentinean polo lifestyle brand La Martina, the title sponsor and official supplier; Lou La Vie, the exotic car rental agency where Justin Bieber got his now infamous Lamborghini; Perfect Vodka; A&E; and is produced by The Polo Life, LLC and ACT Productions.
The world's largest and most prestigious beach polo competition will feature leading players from around the world competing in two tournaments for both men and women. La Martina, Eden Roc, Fontainebleau Aviation and E! Entertainment are all sponsoring Women's Polo Cup teams this year. Men's teams are being sponsored by La Martina, Metropolitan by COMO, The Raleigh, Comcast, Yellow Cab and Tommy Kato's Merchant Hub.

Of course, this being Miami, there's also lots of action off the field. La Martina will stage a sexy fashion show on the 26th in the VIP tent, which will also house a Sunday Morning bikini-optional "Brunch on the Beach" with plenty of cocktails being poured. And Lou La Vie will present Auto Art Miami, a curated installation of some of the world's most exclusive automobiles on the 27th. Around 50 luxury cars valued at over $100 million will be installed throughout Collins Park like drivable sculptures. Lou La Vie is also inviting connoisseurs and collectors to display (we didn't say "show off") their privately owned automobiles from around the world. The installation will honor the likes of Ken Okuyama, designer of the Ferrari Enzo, Nuccio Bertone, designer of the Lamborghini Miura and the Pininfarina family.
"This year's La Martina Miami Beach Polo World Cup is our most prestigious to-date," says Bruce Orosz, president and co-founder of The Polo Life. "2014 is the culmination of an entire decade of bringing the nation's first-ever professional Beach Polo tournament to South Florida. Thanks to the City of Miami Beach and everyone involved, we have made Miami Beach Polo World Cup one of the most popular annual events on [the] region's social and sporting calendars. The competition has also become a highly sought-after exhibition event by some of today's top polo players from around the world."
"We are delighted to announce our continued support of this year's Miami Beach Polo World Cup event as Title Sponsor and official supplier," adds Adrian Simonetti, President and CEO of La Martina America. "For us, polo is a passion, a lifestyle choice and an historic sport with a unique culture. We support every class and level of polo around the world whether it be on grass, snow or sand and have made a strong commitment for producing the very best technical equipment and performance-driven gears for polo players."
A limited number of VIP tickets are available, but general admission to both competitions and the adjacent retail village is free.
