Luxury Goes Au Naturel At Hidden Beach Nudist Resort In The Mexican Riviera
Located in the tropical paradise of the Mexican Riviera is the Hidden Beach Resort. At the striking gated entryway as you walk past duo statues of stone frogs (symbolizing cleansing, renewal and transformation) and through massive solid wood doors, a different kind of luxury awaits.
When you enter, it feels like a real-life Garden of Eden and Champagne is handed to you upon arrival, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. For those that have never heard of Hidden Beach, it is an au naturel resort (clothing optional).

Hidden Beach Resort by Karisma Hotels is the only all-inclusive, luxury nudist resort in the Mexican Caribbean. The property is made up of 42 gorgeous beachside suites with perfectly manicured grounds decorated with luxurious sun beds, palapas, a gourmet restaurant, two bars, a disco, gym, giant hot tub and pools.
When booking a first-floor room, the suite includes a swim-up pool connected to the pool river. Along the wooded walkways, cabanas, sun beds and the blue of the ocean frames the resort like a painted picture. The room itself is luxuriously comfortable, featuring a plush King-sized bed and in-room Jacuzzi bath. The open bathroom is different than most hotel rooms, creating a more risqué feel to showering with no barriers between the living space and bathroom. Other room amenities included an iPod docking station, coffee maker, 42-inch TV with DVD player and bed pillow menu.
A great perk of the resort is the unlimited use of its sister resort, El Dorado Seaside Suites, for guests. While not a clothing-optional resort, it is still an adults-only property with sun beds available for use in the gardens, by the ocean or at the pool. If you need to relax, a beachside massage can be booked with a trained masseuse as well. Water sports are also available on the hotel grounds, with options for kayaking, snorkeling, jet skiing and parasailing. If you would like to explore the area (Mayan ruins, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, adventure parks, cave snorkeling or the rain forest), the concierge services are more than happy to book for you.
Back at Hidden Beach, dining options are limited to one main dining area, but seven different restaurants—Arrecifes, GI, Sandwicherie, Vida Garden Grill, La Carreta, Mia Casa and Klay Talay—are available on the El Dorado side. With choices ranging from International cuisine to Mexican and Italian to Asian, you can find something suitable for everyone.
One thing that Hidden Beach does extremely well is pay attention to detail. From the cute animal towels sitting on your bed at night, to filling up the Jacuzzi with bubbles upon turndown, the thoughtfulness of the staff is second to none. And if you're ready to bear it all, suites begin at around $300 per night.
