Foursquare Tips

  • To the person complaining about the lights... You suck. Enjoy the food and stop using so much hair gel. Fish tacos rule!
  • The carne asada is extra beefy but surprisingly greaseless. It stands out as something of an instant classic, and a serious contender for best in the city.
  • So much negativity.... who cares about the walls or the light!!!anyways the food is delicious. I highly recommend it
  • Ask for the hand made tortillas. They're extra thick and seriously good.
  • Try the horchata!
  • Nice vegetarian options!
  • Carne asada and fried tilapia are cooked to perfection. Vegetarian burrito fillings vary daily, everything from sweet potatoes to garlic roasted corn, in addition to a poblano rajas option.
  • The burritos have fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and large cuts of steak. This is almost unheard of for a $5.50 burrito and taquerias in Chicago.
  • Try the Gringo
  • You can't go wrong here, but the carne asada is what you want.
  • Tacos de lomo and Asada!
  • Eat everything.
  • Seriously some of the best tacos I've ever had. Get the pork taco with a side of elote (the most delicious corn in all the land!)
  • Best Al Pastor (marinated pork) I ever had and the Agua de Pepino is like glass of summertime.
  • Carne asada torta was very tasty. Will be going back to try other items.
  • Hipsters swear by this spot and theyre very serious about its perfectly seasoned steak. You can try the taco straight up with some chopped onions or throw on some creamy Chihuahua cheese.
  • Gringo with red sauce (is a lot of food)
  • There's a lot to like but you can't go wrong with a carne asada burrito. If you're getting a taco make sure to ask for the homemade tortilla. My favorite is the fish taco. And don't forget the salsa!
  • Fish taco is a little spicy but delicious if you like that sort of thing! Perfect horchata & carne asada burrito.
  • Possibly the best taco I have ever had, and I've had some good tacos. Lomo encebollado was my favorite selection.
