Its been said that there's no such thing as a free lunch, but LivingSocial begs to differ (well, almost). Today, the popular deal website will be offering subscribers lunch for a single buck at a number of restaurants in Midtown Manhattan. The promotion coincides with the release of their Instant Deals program, which will allow users to find immediate offerings in their vicinity via the mobile LivingSocial app. 

Regardless of your budget, this is a great way to test out some new restaurants in the area. The value for most of the dollar meals fall within the $15 to $30 range, which seems like a pretty great bargain for Manhattanites. These deals can only be used today from 11a.m. to 2p.m., so be sure to act fast.
