Largest Outdoor Ice Bar In The Country

 

If you like your martinis extra cold and frosty, this is the bar for you. Weighing in at a whopping 50,000 pounds, the Stoli ice bar will be the largest outdoor ice bar in the country. Being built as part of the festivities surrounding New Hampshire Wine Week, the Bedford Village Inn offers this second annual "ice-travaganza" from January 24-28, 2012.

VIPs can rent "ice box" balconies for a front row view of an illuminating light show, a variety of live entertainment and general frozen mayhem. No ice bar would be complete without a martini luge, shooting out an array Stoli cocktails. Executive Chef Benjamin Knack, a former Hell's Kitchen contestant, will be firing up the grill for tasty treats to temper the chill.

The Bedford Village Inn is a AAA Four Diamond Award property located about an hour north of Boston. You can also dine indoors at any of the three restaurants or make a night of it by staying over. The cost to enter the ice bar activities is just $3 with $1 donated to the Child Advocacy Center of Hillsborough Center and the Animal Rescue League in Bedford. Tokens for drinks and food will be available for sale as well.
