Kimpton Restaurants Begin New Installment Of National Series
This summer, Kimpton restaurants and hotels are beginning the newest installment of their national series Behind the Apron... Dishing with Kimpton Chefs.
The chefs of the San Francisco-based restaurants will offer tips on the topic of fire with grilling tips and more. They will also share summer recipes, host demonstrations and events at their restaurants, and share stories through videos.
Throughout July and August, people can participate in Kimpton's national "Cooking Down the House" sweepstakes. Winners will be announced Aug. 20.
If you happen to be in Baltimore or San Francisco this summer, you can check out one of Kimpton's events.
On July 21, "Doing Ribs Right" will take place at the B & O American Brasserie in Baltimore. Chef Thomas Dunklin will demonstrate how to prepare ribs, and guests will leave with a bag of wood chips.
"Where There's Smoke" will occur in San Francisco at Harry Denton's Starlight Room Aug. 21. Chef Jen Biesty, a Top Chef contestant, will demonstrate making fiery bites while bartender Joel Teitelbaum will show how to make cocktails with smoky elements.
