Boiled or roasted, lablab beans can be mixed with curries, put into soups, or mashed into cakes and pastes. Mature beans or dried beans contain cyanogenic glycosides that can be removed by fully cooking the beans. Young lablab beans, lablab flowers, and lablab leaves can be eaten raw.
