If you are not keen about fast food but still get a craving, make a fresh Big Mac at Home!

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1 cup dill pickle slices
  • 8 yellow american cheese slices
  • 8 hambuger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoon chopped dill pickle
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon french dressing
Directions
  1. Shred lettuce, mince onion and finely chop 1/2 cup dill pickle slices for Special Sauce. Divide hamburger into 8 equal portions. Form in to very thin patties, about 1/4" thick. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a griddle or cast iron pan over medium heat.
  3. Use one whole hamburger bun and one bottom from another bun. Lightly butter and grill until toasted.
  4. Top bottom halves of hamburger bun with about 1 Tbsp. of Special Sauce, lettuce, onion and dill pickle chips. Fry hamburger patties until nicely browned and cook through, about 2 minutes per side. Top bottom buns with hamburger patties and top with a slice of cheese. Add an additional tablespoon of Special Sauce onto top part of bun.
  5. Combine all ingredients and chill at least on hour for flavor to blend.
